Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our Elevator/Escalator Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing relationships with clients, and offering tailored solutions to meet their vertical transportation needs. The role requires in-depth market knowledge, technical expertise, and excellent sales acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the elevator/escalator sector.
- Conduct market research to understand client requirements and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Maintain strong post-sale relationships with clients.
- Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the Elevator/Escalator industry.
- In-depth knowledge of local elevator regulations and market trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional certifications in sales are an advantage.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Qatar Driving License – Mandatory
- Experience in the Qatar market is essential.
- Familiarity with major elevator/escalator vendors and service providers in Qatar
