Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Engineer with a mechanical background to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for mechanical equipment and materials.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to ensure continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
• Prepare and present procurement reports and analyses to management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and materials.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
