Job Title: Civil & Structure Design Engineer
Work Location: RasLaffan Industrial City @ Qatar
Work period: from Sep-2024 for tentatively 01 year (extendable as per project requirements)
Driving License: Not mandatory, however, candidate having Qatar license will have an added advantage. Languages: English (written and spoken), Arabic (Spoken is an added advantage)
Education: Bachelor Engineering degree or higher Experience: Minimum 10+ years’ experience of design & construction engineering.
Experience: in onshore & offshore in oil & gas sector is preferable.
Software Skills: MicroStation, AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, STAAD Pro, MAT3D, Civil3D, Navisworks, Microsoft Office
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
Civil & Structure engineer having experience of feed engineering, detail design engineering, site execution and construction support works preferably in oil and gas, powerplants and Petrochemical companies.
Experienced to generate civil & structure design deliverables e.g., scope of work, design specifications, general arrangement drawings, typical installation drawings, construction philosophy, loading schedules, calculations, plot plans, location plans, section drawings, Installation details, soil survey requirements and specifications, radar mapping requirements, underground utilities design and layouts, excavation and backfill requirements, trenching design and calculations, road pavements design, structure loads calculations, Method Statements, Cutover procedure, Material take off, preparation of material requisitions, technical and commercial bid reviews and coordinate with vendors etc.
Shall work to review the design engineering package, coordinate with customer, and design engineering consultant, ensure the design package is not missing any deliverables required for project and site execution, coordinate with customer for design package comments review and resolution, provide support to site execution team, support for red-line markup during execution and submission of design packages to end-user meeting their documents management system requirements etc
