Your role and responsibilities
This is secondment position with one of our client. Our client provides leading electrical distribution and management technologies, solutions and services to electrify the world in a safe, smart and sustainable way. The portfolio includes medium- and low-voltage electrical components, switchgear, digital devices, enclosures, and circuit breakers, among others. With our products, solutions and services, we collaborate with customers to improve power delivery and security, enhance energy management, efficiency and operational reliability, as we seek to achieve a low carbon society.
Your responsibilities:
• Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
• Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of COMPANY’s complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution.
• Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
• Prepares sales plans using COMPANY authorized tools.
• Communicates to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with COMPANY’s offering and strategy.
• Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
• Manages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
• Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.
Qualifications for the role
- You hold a university degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering
- You have 3 – 6 years of experience in a Sales role
- You have an experience in oil & gas /utility sector or similar
- You are familiar with the local market in Qatar
- You have strong written and spoken communication skills in English
- You are able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers
